WILTON, Conn. (BRAIN) — Cannondale is releasing a new lightweight cross-country frame and fork in time for this weekends UCI World Cup race in Albstadt, Germany. Cannondale Factory Racing Team members will use the brands new F-Si frame and Lefty Ocho suspension fork at the race. DENVER (BRAIN) — Several of Colorados largest and longest standing bike events are being operated by new owners this season. Last fall, ClippedIn Events acquired the assets of Rocky Mountain Events, which owned and organized The Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival, Subaru Sunrise-Sunset 12 Hour MTB Race, Primal Colorado Bike Expo, i25 Kia Copper Triangle, and the Icon Eyecare Tour of the Moon. Bike-friendly lawmakers try to restore commuter tax benefit

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — On Friday — Bike to Work Day — Reps. Earl Blumenauer and Joe Crowley released a discussion draft bill that would restore a version of the bicycle commuter federal tax benefit, which was eliminated in the tax bill passed last year.  The draft would restore the benefit, which is still on the books but was suspended through the 2026 tax year. Strava contributes to arrest of cyclist in bike path assault

LEESBURG, Va. (BRAIN) — The Loudoun County Sheriffs Office said they were able to use Strava to help identify and arrest a suspect in the assault of a cyclist on a bike path last month. According the Sheriffs Office, a rider was seriously injured on April 22 when he was struck by another rider on the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. They said the victim was attempting to pass two other riders when a cyclist coming in the other direction reached his arm out and struck the victim on the helmet, ...
